Resource not updating in exchange 2016
Ex Performance Counter.set_Raw Value(Int64 value) The Tech Net article, "'Performance counter updating error' after you install an Exchange Server 2013 cumulative update", indicates this is a problem on Exchange 2013 after applying a CU, but I've seen this happen after applying an update rollup, cumulative update, or .Address lists and global address lists (GALs) are collections of mail-enabled recipient objects from Active Directory. This is only effecting 1 user out of 5 and the other 4 aren't having any issues and all 5 machines are configured the same. Counter name is Power Shell Average Response Time, category name is MSExchange Remote Powershell. The issue is caused by an error in the Exchange setup process where a performance counter definition is tried to read from the wrong location. Copy the following script to a text file and save with the .ps1 extension. If you run into issues you can manually retry the process for that specific performance counter definition.Administrators can set the Remove Old Meeting Messages parameter to remove cancelled meetings from resource calendars as the meetings are canceled. Please note that this applies to meetings cancelled after setting Remove Old Meeting Messages to true.
After you create or modify a GAL, you need to update its membership. It may take several hours for the GAL update to be completed.
I wrote the following Power Shell script to reload the Exchange performance counters.
NET Framework update on Exchange 2010, Exchange 2013, or Exchange 2016 servers. Setup$perfcounters = Get-Child Item "$env: Exchange Install Path\Setup\Perf\" *| Where-Object $perfcount = $perfcounters.
You can create or modify GALs, and update using the tools available in the Exchange admin center (EAC) and the Exchange Management Shell.
For more information, see Address lists in Exchange Server.
Invalid Operation Exception: The requested Performance Counter is not a custom counter, it has to be initialized as Read Only.
